Digital (Magic / Dream Color) LED Strip with addressable LEDs can be used for advanced light effects like rainbow, chasing lights, or custom light programs.
This LED Strip is fully waterproof (IP68) and suitable for outdoor use.
Flexible LED Strip sold per 50cm. The LED Strip is delivered in one piece up to 5 meters. Example: If you put 3x 50cm of LED strip in your shopping cart, you will receive one 1.5 meter LED Strip. However, if you put 16x 50cm of LED Strip in your shopping cart, it is delivered as 1x5m and 1x3m. Etc.
You can solder multiple lengths together to create one long LED Strip.
This strip is very easy to install. You can cut the strip every 10 cm to create any size you need. Moreover, this LED-strip is extremely flexible and very narrow corners can be made with it. The power is supplied through the soldering points which can be found on the strip every 10 centimeters.
This LED Strip requires the use of an
Digital Controller. These controllers can be found in the category
Accessories for LED Strips > Digital LED Strip controllers.
The LED Strip works on 12 Volts, so to connect it to a 110-230V power outlet you will also need a power supply. Please see the category
Accessories - Power Supplies for this. The more LED strip you want to connect, the higher the power consumption will be and therefore the bigger the power supply must be. Look below for an indication of which power supply to use with this LED strip:
10cm - 1.5 meters: Power Supply 12 Watt
1.5 meters - 5 meters: Power Supply 36 Watt
5 meters - 8 meters: Power Supply 60 Watt
8 meters - 11.5 meters: Power Supply 84 Watt
11.5 meters - 16.5 meters: Power Supply 120 Watt
16.5 meters - 25 meters: Power supply 200 Watt
25 meters - 50 meters: Power Supply 400 Watt
Note: You can also use multiple smaller power supplies and supply the power to the pieces of LED Strip separately.
Remark: This LED strip is delivered on waterproof rolls of 5 meters with connection wire on each end. If you want to shorten the LED strip, or if you order a shorter length, you will need to solder new wires onto the LED strip and make the cut section waterproof again. For this purpose, the LED strip comes with end-caps. You can use glue, two component resin or putty to secure these end caps to the strip and make everything waterproof again. You can also order silicone glue from our website.
